Plate 01
Floor-plan revision, millwork detailing, material specification, and construction-phase oversight for residential renovations and new builds. Typical engagement: 8–14 months.
Plate 02
Furniture layouts, lighting plans, textile sourcing, and object placement drawn from our network of independent makers, vintage dealers, and specialist fabricators.
Plate 03
Half-day studio sessions for clients who need a defined material direction — plaster finishes, stone selections, wood species, hardware — without a full design engagement.
Plate 04
Offices, galleries, and hospitality spaces where acoustics, wayfinding, and daily function are designed with the same care as residential rooms.
01
We visit the space, photograph existing conditions, measure light at different hours, and document the materials already present. A brief written assessment follows within one week.
02
Concept boards, spatial drawings, and a running material sample set are developed over four to six weeks. Clients review spreads at our studio table, not in slide decks.
03
Every surface, fixture, and threshold is drawn, specified, and noted for the trades. We issue a bound specification book and coordinate directly with contractors.
04
We supervise final finishes, receive furniture, and place every object. The room is photographed only after the client has lived in it for at least one season.
"They treated our kitchen like a serious piece of architecture. The joinery details, the plaster finish, the way the light hits the counter at six in the morning — none of it is accidental. Two years in and we still notice new things."
"Morrow Vale redesigned our gallery and office without once asking us to look at a mood board. They brought physical samples, real drawings, and a material book that our contractor still references. The space is quiet, functional, and exactly right."

FAQ
Keep the answers calm and editorial. A sentence with real specificity beats a soft pitch.
Most residential projects run eight to fourteen months from first site visit through installation. Smaller scopes — a single room or a material refresh — can be completed in three to four months.
Yes. We maintain active projects across Oregon and Washington and have completed work in Northern California. Travel and accommodation costs are added to the project fee at cost.
We occasionally take furnishing-only engagements when the architectural scope is already resolved. We'll want to visit the space and review existing drawings before confirming.
We work with your existing contractor or recommend trusted trades from our network. During construction, we attend site visits on a regular schedule and review all finish work before sign-off.
We wait at least one season after move-in before scheduling a shoot. Rooms look better lived in, and the photographs are more honest for it.
